Nadia García, joins the R&D department of ADBioplastics as R&D Specialist

Nadia García, R&D Specialist ADBioplastics

ADBioplastics’ growth is unstoppable. In 2021 we will start with the official commercialisation of PLA-Premium grades to replace traditional petroleum-based plastics with bio-based, biodegradable and compostable bioplastics. Precisely, the success of the commercialisation of our bioplastics, based on high quality parameters, is largely due to the great work being done from the R&D department of our startup. Today we are very proud to announce that we have a very TOP signing in our ranks.

She is Nadia García. As R&D Specialist, she will be in charge of expanding the catalogue of PLA-Premium grades, all of them adapted according to the needs of our customers, and which are framed in the following sectors: food, cosmetics, 3D printing, construction, textile and biomedical. Nadia holds a PhD in chemical sciences-materials from CSIC, a Master’s degree in Nanophysics and new materials from the Complutense University of Madrid and a degree in chemistry from the Roviri y Virgili University of Tarragona. In the last 2 years she has worked as R&D Project Manager at Aitex, Institute of Textile and Laboratories in the direction and management of national and international projects of polymeric and bio-based materials applied to the textile industry. Previously, she has been working as a scientific researcher at the Université de Poitiers, in France, at the Uned and at the ICP-CSIC. As she defines herself “I am cooperative and I like to learn from others in order to advance and climb professionally in the field of bioplastics”. She is also clearly customer-oriented, so welcome to the team, Nadia!
