Our PLA-Premium product is a bio-based and compostable bioplastic that enhances the properties of pure PLA, reaching applications that pure PLA alone cannot achieve, while being fully environmentally friendly.
The goal of our bioplastic is to guide our clients towards a sustainable model.
PLA-Premium consists of virgin PLA and our ADBio PLA+ additive, a multifunctional additive manufactured in our chemical plant, using our own formulations. Both are combined through a compounding process, following strict quality control to ensure the best results.
For us, every client is unique. That’s why at ADBioplastics we offer customized PLA-Premium grades. Additionally, we provide consultative sales, which translates into personalized advice, supporting each client during the industrial trials they conduct with our material. Our bioplastic is bio-based, as it comes from natural products like corn, sugarcane, and/or beet, and it is compostable. As a result, it takes only three months at most to disintegrate into water and CO₂ under industrial conditions (EN 13432).
PLA-PREMIUM BIOPLASTIC ADBIOPLASTICS ALTERNATIVE TO CONVENTIONAL PLASTICS
We currently have PLA-Premium grades, aimed at various industrial extrusion and injection applications.
Our PLA-Premium improves elongation at break (mechanical properties) by up to 70%, achieving a “Premium” version of PLA that is less brittle and more flexible. That’s not the only improvement we’ve made.
