Injection molding technology works through a shaping process using molds. Our bioplastic is heated and melted before being sent into the mold, where it cools to create the pre-designed shape. In this process, the manufactured parts can have various shapes and finishes, and production can be carried out quickly, consistently, and in large quantities or volumes, always meeting the customer’s needs. With this technology, we can produce products for a wide variety of industries.

The properties of our PLA-Premium material allow the final product to be processed on conventional equipment at a higher performance than other plastics, while maintaining high strength and exceptional finishes. To achieve this, we offer the BioXe grades of PLA-Premium, which allow us to adapt the material formulation to meet the desired final product characteristics and the production processes of our clients. Additionally, the material is compostable and biobased, meaning it generates no waste during the manufacturing process, is environmentally friendly, and helps you meet sustainability objectives and regulations.

How are our BioXe grades?

We offer customized grades to meet the needs of our clients. These grades vary based on the desired characteristics of the final product:

Shape, finish, and technical performance competitive with conventional plastics
Cycle times similar to PS, PE, and PP
Good processability with conventional equipment
Improvement of mechanical properties compared to virgin PLA
Final product with good finishes
Excellent compatibility and homogenization of pigments and additives
Melting temperature lower than that of other plastics (between 170ºC and 190ºC).
Wide quality in surface finish (polished, frosted, glossy, veined, etc.).
Excellent definition of the neck and thread
Material suitable for food and cosmetic contact according to European legislation on materials in contact with food (FCM) and cosmetic products
OK Compost Industrial certification from TÜV Austria
