This Thursday you have an appointment with the sustainability of the planet, in Valencia. Tomorrow, United Nations Day will be celebrated with a massive Congress, in which all the companies committed to the planet will attend. Under the slogan “We count on you”, the event will take place at the Royal Navy of Valencia from 9:15 am to 9:00 pm and ADBioplastics will be present. “We will do it with a Stand in the outside area. We will carry real samples to show the Young people how is possible to manufacture bottles and trays with 100% sustainable BIOplastics with the planet for the food sector, the largest consumer of traditional plastic from petroleum in the entire European Union ”, Lorena García, CMO at ADBioplastics has announced. She will be accompanied at the stand of José Ángel Ramos, CTO. Other companies of this green elite will be exhibiting together with ADBioplastics. “We have to create a positive impact on all sectors of the society. It is important to integrate the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in schools, universities and our daily lives” Mrs. García has said. The SDGs focus on the end of the poor, zero hunger, health, and well-being, industry, innovation and infrastructure, responsible production and consumption, underwater life, among others.
During the Congress, a wide variety of activities, workshops, and conferences are scheduled to promote the SDGs by 2030. Among the 30 speakers are Raúl Martín, Director of KM Zero, Anna Pons, Director of CEACV, Araceli Rodríguez, Community Builders of Barrio La Pinada, Juan Ángel Poyatos, Voluntare Founder or Natalia Carbonell, Coordinator of the ODS Congress. Organized by the UN Valencia, Puentes Digitales, and Sociolidarios, this event wants to commemorate the entry into force in 1945 of the Charter of the United Nations.
